The Company

MTAB Technology Center Pvt Ltd (MTC) was established in 2011 to focus entirely on skill development, training, upgradation and maintenance of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies like CNCs, Robotics, Mechatronics and Automation equipment in general.

MTC’s incorporation has been timely. India’s fast-paced growth and the focus on ‘Make in India’ has moved the spotlight firmly on Manufacturing as a sector.

With India’s growing technological prowess in the 1990s and 2000s, and its global leadership in software services, it was quite clear that the next wave of growth for the country would come from high-tech manufacturing.

However, a yawning gap exists between skill sets available in the manufacturing ecosystem in India and the knowledge base that would be required to equip, operate and maintain the high-tech machines utilized in modern factories in developed countries.

MTAB Technology Center Pvt Ltd (MTC) was therefore established in 2011 to focus on skill development, training, upgradation and maintenance of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies like CNCs, Robotics, Mechatronics and Automation equipment in general, so as to upskill the Indian engineering student base as well as the workforce to be ready for Industry 4.0.

Today, as a pioneer in this field, MTC serves the upskilling and training needs of both academia and corporate India in the areas of advanced manufacturing technology such as CNC, Robotics, Automation, FMS/CIM, CAD/CAM and virtual reality software.

MTC also serves many leading engineering and technical training institutions abroad, and includes both indigenous and imported systems in its curriculum.

MTC adopts globally accepted and recognized training methodologies in tune with industry requirements. All course content is designed after much study and research and is based on contemporary technologies and inputs from industry experts. Content is constantly updated to suit emerging trends, and also customized to suit different needs.

LMS and eLearning Content

MTC’s flagship product offering, an eLearning platform that serves individuals and organisations, both in academia and industry, who prefer an entirely online training course. Delivered through a world-class Learning Management System (LMS), built on the Moodle platform with rich digital content on all technologies.

Centers of Excellence

Ultra-modern, state-of-the-art laboratories set up from scratch in engineering institutions in partnership with Siemens, and training provided to both students and staff on various cutting-edge manufacturing technologies used in today’s world, in sectors such as Automobiles, Aerospace, Defense, Industry, Energy, and Shipbuilding.

In-person Training

Conventional hands-on training supported by both classroom and laboratory time. Ideal for both students and teachers of institutes, as well as upskilling of staff from corporates. Accredited to National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), affiliated to Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) and IASC Sector Skill Council.

‘Smart Factory’

Comprehensive Smart Factory Automation incubation centers — with all representative hardware and software plus eLearning systems to facilitate easy upskilling — at both industry sites and educational institutions to help personnel and students to prepare for the future needs of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things.

Infrastructure

MTC offers a state-of-the-art technology training center spread across over 3000 sq ft in Chennai, India. The Center houses a complete range of equipment along with associated software required for comprehensive skill training. Located on Chennai’s IT Highway, the Center is well located and easily connected to most important landmarks of the city.

All our trainers and educational experts possess over ten years of experience each on an average in training and in developing elearning content in the fields of CNC, Robotics and Advanced Automation.
